Watkins Glen International is one of the world’s fine race tracks, but I sure stunk up the joint this past weekend. Visiting the Glen for only the second time, I never came up to speed; spun once during Saturday’s qualifying race (blowing apart my car’s “splitter,” which is essentially a fancy front spoiler that helps cool the car and improves grip); then spun twice more in Sunday’s main event.

Happily, several of my teammates and clients enjoyed better weekends. You can read the full report here. (I write these post-race reports, and when I fail to mention my own outing, as I do this time around, it’s a safe bet that I had a crappy race.)
